Your participation in this training will be instrumental and help strengthen state resources to ensure Veterans, Service Members, and Families have access to needed care!

Topics that will be addressed in this training include:

Understanding Military Culture and the Varying Deployment Cycles
In this lesson, participants will learn about phases of the deployment cycle and unique aspects of military culture. Participants will also learn about challenges that Veterans, Service Members, and their Families may face throughout the deployment cycle and strategies to communicate effectively to improve quality of care.

Reintegration Challenges for Veterans, Service Members and their Families
In this lesson, participants will learn about the reintegration challenges that Veterans, Service Members, and their Families experience after deployment, such as returning to or finding employment, establishing a new normal, renegotiating roles and responsibilities, and managing stress and long-term deployment effects.
